There are so many ways to tell a story, but not all of them have the same impact. Some stories are best with visual impact. Others simply need words on a paper. At UALR, I was encouraged to explore many different types of digital storytelling, from traditional essays and reports to infographics and slide decks. I had to think about my target audience, the information I wanted to share with them, and the technology available to me to create something that was accessible, engaging, and informative.

I created this piece of digital journalism to tell the story of the Ghost Girls, so named because their slow deaths by radium poisoning actually gave them a green glow.
